Description
A crown of authority. A reign of grace. A final sparkling tribute.
Imperial State Crown is a distinguished 1 oz fine silver collectible honouring the life, legacy, and extraordinary reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, this elegant coin draws inspiration from one of the most iconic pieces of the Crown Jewels, the Imperial State Crown, a symbol inseparable from the Queen’s public life and constitutional role.
The reverse design pairs the Royal Cypher with an artistic interpretation of the Imperial State Crown, lavishly adorned with coloured glass stones and crystals. This was the crown worn by Queen Elizabeth II as she left Westminster Abbey after her coronation in 1953, and the one she wore throughout her reign at State Openings of Parliament, embodying continuity, sovereignty, and tradition.
Struck in 99.99% pure silver and finished in matte proof, this coin forms part of the Queen Elizabeth II’s Reign collection. With a limited mintage of 8,000 coins worldwide, it stands as both a commemorative keepsake and a refined numismatic tribute. As a pure silver issue, it is GST/HST exempt.

Design

The obverse is a special tribute design unique to the Queen Elizabeth II’s Reign collection. It unites the four effigies that appeared on Canadian coinage during her reign, marked by a small Tudor rose, creating a powerful visual timeline of her 70 years as sovereign.
